Rudi Schogger joined GoinGreen as its new managing director in July 2010. Already, in a short space of time, he has set about implementing some changes at GoinGreen, such as introducing new service agreements and upgrading the website, and has many more plans for the company. You can read more about Rudi and his plans for GoinGreen in the G-Wiz Owners’ Club interview with Mike Boxwell here: http://www.g-wiz.org.uk/interview-with-rudi-schogger-md-goingreen.html

| INTRODUCING THE GOINGREEN FAMILY |
|
Over the years, many of you will have had some dealings with Phil Maria in Sales & Servicing and Alan Gladwin in the workshop, but we thought that it was time to introduce them properly and put faces to the names. We shall introduce you to the whole GoinGreen team over time, so you can get to know us as well as well as we are getting to know you.
Phil Maria (right), who has been with GoinGreen for three years, has been promoted to Sales & Services Manager and is responsible for the smooth management of all the vehicles that we service and sell, and of course their owners. Phil says, “I am delighted to take on this role and play a key part in the improvements which GoinGreen is putting in place. It’s also a very exciting time for electric vehicles and the next few years should see some amazing things happen.” You can reach Phil at pm@goingreen.co.uk.
Alan Gladwin (left) has been with GoinGreen for 2½ years and is our valued Lead Workshop Technician. With over 30 years experience in the automotive industry, Alan is taking over responsibility for training and quality control and will play a key part in the continual raising of standards which GoinGreen strives for. You can reach Alan at workshop@goingreen.co.uk

| REVAMPED WEBSITE AND OFFICE |
|
September sees the re-launch of the GoinGreen website, making it more visually attractive and simplifying the content, so it is easier to navigate. The new website also launches the LOVE G-Wiz campaign and we hope that we have also made it more inclusive for owners. We have a ‘We LOVE G-Wiz’ section featuring photographs of owners and their G-Wiz and we would love more, so please send your pictures in JPeg or Tiff format to Harmi Palda at hp@goingreen.co.uk
The new-look website is live now, awaiting a few final tweaks, so it is worth checking out on a regular basis for news, special offers and updates. http://www.goingreen.co.uk
Still in revamp mode, we decided that it was finally time to do something about our rather drab offices in Southall and that a brighter, smarter space would be a better working environment and provide an improved customer experience, so do feel free to pay us a visit.

| CUSTOMERS AT THE HEART OF GOINGREEN |
|
As we have invested so much time and energy into improving GoinGreen, we thought what better way to make it official, than by introducing the GoinGreen Customer Charter to help improve our service and our relationship with you. We have made vows that range from ensuring we always answer your queries in 24 hours, to making sure you are up to date on developments in the EV world. The charter can be viewed on our website.
With a renewed focus on customers, we have also revised our service agreements. Working on the mantra of ‘Love your G-Wiz and it will love you back’ we have simplified and improved our annual service agreements, making it much easier for you to decide which level of service you require and what you get for your money.
For more information on our service agreements, please contact Doug McCarthy (dm@goingreen.co.uk) or Mike Khallaf (mk2@goingreen.co.uk) in our Sales & Services team and they will be pleased to send you full details.

| EARN 10% OFF ALL PARTS AND LABOUR |
|
As part of our renewed marketing campaign, we thought what better way to promote the G-Wiz than by the very people who drive them every day? And what if we rewarded customers for that? If you are willing for us to place a graphic in your rear window telling people a bit about the G-Wiz, we’ll give you 10% off parts and labour. All you need do is display one until the end of this year and we’ll administer your discount. If you would like to be involved, please email Rudi Schogger at rs@goingreen.co.uk

| MEET KELE BAKER: A G-WIZ LOVER FOR FIVE YEARS AND STILL GOING STRONG! |
|
It’s always great to hear from happy customers, but Kele Baker is especially proud to talk about her happy times with her G-Wiz. With five years of driving with the original set of batteries, her G-Wiz has been everything she wanted, thanks to the careful way she has looked after it.
On visiting GoinGreen’s workshop recently, Kele said, “It’s just a matter of taking care of the car and doing what was explained to me about looking after it, from the day it was delivered to me. I plan my trips a little in advance so I can mind the battery cycling, I water the batteries once a fortnight and I keep an eye on my use of radio and heating, but they’re small considerations compared to the amount of pleasure and convenience I get back. When I made the choice to drive an environmental vehicle, I accepted the fact that I am not going to have the same performance as a petrol or diesel car, but that’s my choice. The rewards certainly outweigh any small sacrifices I have to make.”
Do you still have your original batteries? We’d love to hear from you about your LOVE G-Wiz stories. And, when you have been on your batteries for five years, we’ll give you 30% off your next year service agreement.

| REVENGE OF THE ELECTRIC CAR |
|
A couple of years ago, some G-Wiz owners attended a special preview of the film Who Killed the Electric Car? and indeed, there was a second event for owners when the DVD was released, with a G-Wiz featured in the DVD extras. Now, the director of the film, Chris Paine, is making a new documentary Revenge of the Electric Car and is looking for stories on how ppeople have been inspired by the film or by efforts to help make EV dreams a reality and replace the petrol cars on the roads today with more efficient electric vehicles. He wants to hear your stories and tell him what you have done to take REVENGE for the electric car! Full details can be found at http://revengeoftheelectriccar.com/send-us-your-ev-revenge-stories/
